Have you ever thought WHY we have certain memories. Why some places we travel to are so familiar, yet we may never have been there before. We know things that we couldn't possibly know, and relate to things and places that are not of our time.

Some would possibly say that this is an occurrence of De ja vue', or others would say that it is reincarnation. I think it may be possible ancestral memories. Memories of past relatives, passed down from generation through generation one to another. How is this possible? Well I think it could be done through our DNA. Who's to say whether or not their memories where imprinted in their DNA and passed on to you. After all that's how they trace ancestors, connect and prove relationships.

Say you have had a recurring dream through out your life, starting from childhood. Same dream often, same details time after time, so familiar yet so strange. It's more of a memory than a dream. But what had happened couldn't have possible been something that happened to you, either because of the time or place.

Then one day unexpectedly you go somewhere you never have been before, yet it is so familiar to you. You recall details or people of places. Then your "Dream" comes into your head. Maybe you have had this happen to you, then you begin to research your family genealogy and find details unknown to you before. Maybe it was your Grandfather, your Great Grandmother, you realize the dreams and thoughts you had been having all this time match mysteriously with what you have found out about them.

No one has told you, no one else knows or has experienced these things but you. How do they happen, how could it all be woven into your being. Ancestral memories, is the conclusion I come up with. Can this be ,I do not honestly know. Will it ever be proved ? THAT I can not say, but it is an amazing thing if you think about it.
